In my opinion, (after being in the advertising business for over 30 years) is that the small business owner is being priced "right out of the advertising market". The high cost of the media ads, such as the phone book, newspaper ads, radio ads, TV ads and others is just too expensive for them to run ads on a continuing basis. This is the reason I created my first mall, the "Central Oregon Mall". In eight years I have never increased my ad prices. I set the basic price of an ad for one year at $365.00. Any merchant can afford a "DOLLAR A DAY". They not only get an ad that's (up and running) 24 hours a day for 365 days out of the year, but this ad is a full page ad with their logo in color, and 4 colored photos of their product or services. Plus text of words describing their product or services. The "last thing" a typical salesperson tells their clients is "the price". With our program, one of the "first" things we tell them is "our price". Why ? Because we have the lowest price, for the best exposure in the advertising business. We take the "fear" of (how much) out of the merchant's mind (up front, and in advance). You can have the "best thing in the market place," but if the price is "out of reach", you have nothing. I got in this business to "help merchants", not to hurt them financially. NOTE: The merchant can spend more than the $365.00 per year with
you on some "bells and whistles" of which we show them during our sales
book presentation, and the average sale amount ends up being $515.00.
